At wirDesign, we work in a self-organized and autonomous fashion - without superiors or rigid hierarchies. For this, we rely on team spirit, active participation, and fair working conditions for everyone.

You are a part of the we

Strong teams are our foundation for working without hierarchies. While short-term solutions get worked out immediately with your consultation partners, we always keep the exchange going via digital opinion polls, expert feedbacks, and our team feedback format called "bathtub".

You help shape wirDesign

Because we are always evolving. Every four weeks we discuss current topics and concerns among all teams. When we try out new ideas within the agency, we call this trial period a “flip”. And in our annual strategy meetings, we exchange ideas concerning long-term goals.

Our working hours are fair

Your time is important to us. That's why we record all overtime hours, and your work is always compensated in free time or euros. You only coordinate vacations with your team. And the number of hours you work can be flexibly adjusted.

We rely on progress

"WDA", our wirDesign Academy, is our regular format for knowledge transfer, insights, and a meal together in the office. Of course, we also support external continuing education, e.g. through our wirDesign Campus with access to LinkedIn Learning and much more.

This is how the application process works:

You can easily apply for the job opening you are interested in right here on our website. 

After receiving your application, we quickly evaluate whether your application is a match for wirDesign. By the way, we don't need a detailed letter of motivation from you - but please feel free to write us a few short sentences about who you are and what makes you tick.

Once you have submitted your application, the entire process will be supported by someone from our "People & Culture Team".

If your application is a good fit for wirDesign, we want to get to know each other in a first (digital) interview. During this conversation you will meet one or two of your future colleagues to allow for a professional exchange about the role, an insight into the work at wirDesign, and to answer any open questions.

After a successful first interview, you will be invited to meet your future team for a second interview. Due to our hierarchy-free structures, your new team members naturally also have a voice in the hiring process. After this meeting, ideally everyone - including you - can decide whether we are a good fit for each other.

The team is convinced. You are convinced. Perfect! We will discuss all contract details with you and send you your employment contract. Of course, we will also provide you with all other information and details you may need until your first day at wirDesign.

On your first day of work, we will provide you with all the necessary technical equipment. In the following weeks, you will enjoy many different onboarding sessions to become familiar with our working methods - and, along the way, get to know the office and your colleagues.

Swarm intelligence trumps boss attitude.

Top-down and silo thinking are yesterday’s news. We live consistent collegiality and collaborative cooperation. Our self-organised, hierarchy-free teams, which are tailored to the needs of our clients, act in an agile and unbureaucratic manner and thus achieve results more quickly.
